Portage Lake/Onekama a 5.0 rating.

Gorgeous deep water lake. Surrounded by high dune bluffs. Lake has no large river flowing into it and is always clean. Fishing is excellent all year.

Mahogany Bay - Island of Roatan a 2.0 rating.

The actual port of Mahagany Bay was built for Carnaval and appears to be fake city. You need to take an excursion to see the wonderful interior of the island. Hilly and almost mountaness slope sides

Charlevoix a 5.0 rating.

This upper class port has draw bridge to enter every 30 minutes, and then shopping and eating and entertainment. Lake Charlevoix is an excellent lake to sail on when the big lake is too rough.

This is a favorite port for many Michiganders and Chicagonites. Food, sandy beaches, and atmosphere. Be sure to walk down town and visit the Antler bar and grill.

Drifter gives
Muskegon a 5.0 rating.

This harbor has food and shopping, festivals, and a few places to anchor. There is enough room to sail on the inland lake when the big lake is too rough.
